Radha Ashtami 2025: Know the Date and Timing

Well India is known for its grand festivals, every day in India there is something to celebrate but out of those, there is some very auspicious festival. Radha Ashtami is a big festival in Hinduism which is celebrated on the birth of the goddess Radha, the eternal companion of Lord Krishna. It falls on Ashtami Tithi (8th day) of Shukla Paksha in Bhadrapada month which comes in August or September in the Gregorian calendar. In 2025 Radha Ashtami will be on Sunday, August 31.

Devotees observe this festival with deep devotion, fasting and prayers. In many temples, special pujas, kirtans and bhajans are performed to worship Radha Rani. This festival is very significant in Vaishnava tradition as Radha is the embodiment of pure devotion (Bhakti).
