Has Anyone Visited Nidhivan at Night?

Nidhivan is located in Vrindavan. Nidhivan is a forest full of mysteries and devotion. It is believed to be the place where Lord Krishna performed leela with Goddess Radha and Sakhis. It is believed that Lord Krishna visits Nidhivan every day to perform Rasleela with Radha and the Gopis even today. That is why the entry after the evening is banned in the temple.

Those who tried to witness this divine leela in Nidhivan Temple Vrindavan of the Lord Krishna had faced severe consequences. The trees of Nidhivan is unique and they all look like if they are dancing. Locals believed that those trees are the Sakhis who perform with Lord Krishna.

So, no one ever visited Nidhivan at night. There is no evidence if someone really tried to enter the temple at night.

What is the Timing of Darshan at Mathura Temples?

Darshan timing in Mathura temples varies from temple to temple. But there is a permanent darshan timing for pilgrims at the most popular Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple.

Darshan Timings are

Morning: 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Evening: 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM

At times of festivals or other special occasions, the temple remains open for late hours to accommodate more pilgrims. A few of the most famous Mathura temples such as Dwarkadhish Temple, Banke Bihari Temple at Vrindavan and ISKCON Temple follow the same darshan timings, morning and evening.

Early morning or evening aarti is best so that it's peaceful and sacred. Avoid going during festival season as the temple gets crowded with pilgrims.

History of Vaishno Devi Dham

The believers said that during the Treta Yuga, the second age in Hindu mythology evil forces threatened Earth. Bhumi, the Earth Goddess asked for the help from the Trimurti to save her from evil's grip. The wives of the Trimurti—Brahma - Saraswati, Vishnu - Lakshmi, and Shiv – Parvati, joined forces to create Vaishno Devi because they lacked the power to act alone. After many fights, the goddess beat the evil forces and chose to stay on earth to guard it.

Maa Vaishno Devi Dham Vrindavan is replica of the original Vaishno Devi Dham located in Jammu. This temple was built by Shri J.C. Chaudhry in 2003 who was a great devotee of Mata Vaishno Devi. This dham is span over 12 acres with 141-foot-tall statue of Maa Vaishno Devi.

In Which Month There is no Crowd in Vrindavan?

The best months to visit Vrindavan with less crowds are July and August during the monsoon season. Another perfect time is early December or January excluding the festive days. The winter chill keeps away the casual tourists and the atmosphere is calm and perfect to explore the famous temples like Banke Bihari Temple, ISKCON Temple and Prem Mandir. Better avoid visiting during fetsivals likeHoli, Janmashtami and Radha Ashtami due to a lot of crowd. For a hassle-free experience, choose weekdays instead of weekends.
