Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany have ordered Apple to stop sales after France said the iPhone 12 was emitting too much electromagnetic radiation. The French regulator, ANFR, found that the iPhone 12 exceeded legal limits for radiation exposure when held close to the body.

Other EU countries are now reviewing ANFR's results and conducting their own tests. If they find that the iPhone 12 actually poses a health risk, they can take the same measures as France and ban the sale of the device.
