Since the 1300’s the Razzouk family has been tattooing pilgrims in Jerusalem. They still use many of the original stamps hand carved over the years with depictions of crosses, St. George slaying the dragon, the crucifixion or resurrection of Christ, among many other early Christian symbols. I joined the countless faithful who have taken the cross of Jerusalem as a reminder of their experience in the Holy Land and their connection to the broader Church around the world and throughout history. It was made even more meaningful by joining with five of our other pilgrims from Hope in bearing this mark of devotion.
