'Shoulder injury' Kim Ha-Sung becomes first injury list member after U.S. debut
Major League Baseball's Ha-Sung Kim of the San Diego Padres has been placed on the disabled list for the first time since reaching the big leagues.
The San Diego Padres have placed Ha-seong Kim on the 10-day disabled list with an inflamed right shoulder.
Kim was subbed out of the game against Colorado after complaining of pain in his right shoulder while sliding into first base.
“For San Diego's goal of reaching the World Series, it would be a better decision to place him on the disabled list,” Kim told MLB.com.
