Understanding Femoral Nerve Radiculopathy

Femoral nerve radiculopathy, often referred to as femoral neuropathy, is a condition characterized by pain, numbness, or weakness in the areas served by the femoral nerve. It occurs when there is damage to the femoral nerve.

?Symptoms of Femoral Nerve Radiculopathy
?Pain: This is usually felt in the groin, thigh, and knee. The pain can be sharp or burning and may worsen with certain activities.
?Numbness: A lack of sensation in the front of the thigh or the inside of the lower leg.
?Weakness: Difficulty in straightening the knee or hip, making it hard to walk, climb stairs, or perform other leg movements.
?Reflex Loss: Reduced or absent knee-jerk reflex.
