"You say you love the rain,
But under it you walk with an umbrella.
You say you love the sun
But on sunny days you seek shade.
you say you love the wind
But when he comes you close the window.
So I'm afraid
When you say you love me

।।তুরস্কের একটি ফোক কবিতা।।

“তুমি বলো, তুমি বৃষ্টি ভালোবাসো,
কিন্তু তার তলে তুমি ছাতা নিয়ে হাঁটো।
তুমি বলো, তুমি সূর্য ভালোবাসো,
কিন্তু রোদের দিনে তুমি ছায়া খোঁজো।
তুমি বলো, তুমি বাতাস ভালোবাসো,
কিন্তু যখন সে আসে তুমি জানালা বন্ধ করে দাও।
তাই আমি ভয় পাই
যখন তুমি বলো, তুমি আমাকে ভালোবাসো।”
