Kim Si-woo tied for 22nd at PGA Houston Open 3R
South Korean actor Kim Si Woo (CJ) is tied for 22nd place on the third day of the Texas Children's Houston Open ($9.1 million-approx. KRW 12.2 billion) on the U.S. Professional Golf (PGA) Tour.
Kim carded five birdies and three bogeys for a 2-under 68 in the third round of the tournament at Memorial Park Golf Course (Par 70) in Houston, Texas, U.S., on July 31 (KST).
Her 3-under-par 207 total moved her up six spots from a second-round tie for 28th. He will be looking for his second top-10 of the season on the final day of competition. Kim finished tied for sixth at the Players Championship on Sept. 18, his first top-10 finish of the season.
Lee Kyung-hoon (CJ) and Kim Sung-hyun (Shinhan Financial Group), who were tied for 45th on day two, moved up to a tie for 34th after the third round. The duo shot a 2-under-par 68 to finish with a 2-under-par 208 total.
In the final four rounds of the tournament, Lee will be looking for his second top-10 finish of the season. He finished tied for ninth at the Valspar Championship on Sept. 25. Sung Hyun Kim will be looking for his first top-10 of the season.
Five players are tied for the lead. World No. 1 Scotty Schauffler (USA), David Skins (GBR), Stefan Jaeger (GER), Alejandro Tosti (ARG) and Thomas Dietri (BEL) are at the top of the leaderboard. With a median score of 9-under par 201, they are tied for sixth place by one stroke.
Schauffler will be looking to win his third straight event. He previously won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship.
