Spanning 176 kilometers and comprising six color-coded lines, the Riyadh Metro https://riyadhmetro.net/ is designed to connect all major areas of the city. It will feature 85 modern stations, including iconic structures like King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Station, designed by the renowned architectural firm Zaha Hadid Architects.

The metro system will integrate with the Riyadh Bus network, offering seamless connectivity and convenience for passengers across the city.

The Six Lines of the Riyadh Metro
Line 1 (Blue Line): Running from Al-Olaya to Al-Batha, this line will travel along King Abdulaziz Road and is considered the backbone of the metro network.

Line 2 (Red Line): This line runs along King Abdullah Road and serves key residential and business areas.

Line 3 (Orange Line): Covering western Riyadh, it stretches from Madinah Al Munawwarah Road to Prince Saad Bin Abdulrahman Al Awal Road.

Line 4 (Yellow Line): Primarily serves the King Khalid International Airport, providing a fast link to air travelers.

Line 5 (Green Line): Travels along King Abdulaziz Road and serves educational and governmental institutions.

Line 6 (Purple Line): This shorter route connects key neighborhoods in the southeast part of the city.
