Creating an Apple ID for your child allows them to enjoy Apple services like iCloud, FaceTime, and the App Store—while giving parents full control over privacy, screen time, and content access. Apple lets you create a child account (for users under 13, or the age threshold in your country) through Family Sharing. To do this, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Family Sharing > Add Member > Create Child Account.
