Unlocking Precision: Mastering End-Scribing for Simulated Divided Lights

A woodworking method used in the building of windows and doors, especially those with simulated divided light (SDL) designs, is End-Scribing for Simulated Divided Lights. SDL is the term for the aesthetic element in which a single, huge piece of glass is covered in muntin bars to give the impression of separate glass panes. The technique of carefully cutting and fitting these muntin bars at the ends to provide smooth transitions and a consistent look is known as "end-scribing.
