India-US trade deal talks begin: Trump makes key comments on tariffs
Washington: Negotiations on a bilateral trade agreement between India and the US have officially begun.India was represented in the talks in Washington by a team led by Additional Secretary of Commerce Rajesh Agarwal.. On the other hand, US President Donald Trump made key remarks. He revealed that he had heard that India would reduce tariffs on some products. Speaking at a media conference in the Oval Office, Trump said, “I have learned that India will reduce tariffs on some types of goods. This is a good sign.”
