My recent experience in the Turkish Airlines ATH Terminal was an unadulterated pleasure from beginning to end. The terminal is contemporary, well-maintained, and passenger-friendly. The personnel at check-in were extremely polite and efficient, and they sorted me out with my boarding pass and baggage in no time at all. The security procedure was also seamless without any undue delay. What surprised me the most was the tidiness and comfort of the terminal waiting area. Ample seating, charging stations, and clean toilets were a plus to my travel experience. I liked how simple the signage was, allowing an inexperienced traveler such as myself to get around the terminal without a hitch. It really does feel like Turkish Airlines has spent a lot of effort making sure that passengers are comfortable and at ease prior to flight. I would strongly suggest this airport to any traveler who is boarding from Athens due to its great service, welcoming personnel, and overall excellent travel ambiance.
