The opposition launched a scathing attack on Omar Abdullah

Opposition leaders in Kashmir on Monday launched a scathing attack on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for welcoming Union Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju in Srinagar even as he introduced the controversial Waqf Bill in Parliament last week, which was later passed by a majority.

Rijiju praised Omar Abdullah
On Monday morning, Rijiju and Omar Abdullah together visited Srinagar's famous Tulip Garden, located on the banks of Dal Lake, in the lap of the Zabarwan Hills.

Rijiju wrote on the social media platform X, "A refreshing morning walk at the Tulip Garden in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir with Hon'ble CM Shri OmarAbdullah Ji. Also happy to meet Dr Farooq Abdullah Sahib. A special morning with the beauty of nature and warm conversation." However, the opposition did not like all this.
