Betting apps: The Telangana government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) on the betting apps issue. DGP Jitender has issued orders to this effect. The SIT will conduct the investigation under the supervision of Additional DG CID.SIT teamAlong with IG Ramesh, SPs Sindhu Sharma, Venkata Lakshmi, Additional SP Chandrakanth and DSP Shankar are present. Cases have already been registered in Punjagutta, Cyberabad and Miyapur PSs regarding the betting apps issue.
