Ayodhya Development: Ram Janmabhoomi Trust paid huge tax to the government.

Supporting the government with Rs. 400 crore in taxes
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is playing a significant role in the growth of religious tourism in Ayodhya. In the last five years, the trust has literally raised Rs.Paying 400 crores in taxes, it became a major contributor to government revenue.. Trust Secretary Champat Rai disclosed this on Sunday. During the period from February 5, 2020 to February 5, 2025, the trust paid Rs. 270 crore under Goods and Services Tax (GST), while the remaining Rs. 130 crore went to the government exchequer in the form of other taxes. He said this is evidence of transparency in the management of the trust.
