The mysterious disappearance of Sudiksha Konanki, an Indian student and permanent resident of the United States, in the Dominican Republic is causing concern. Authorities have identified 24-year-old Joshua Ribey as a suspect in the case.

How did she disappear?
Sudiksha Konanki (20), an Indian student from Virginia, was last seen on March 6 at the Riu Republic resort in Punta Cana. She had gone to the Dominican Republic for a vacation with five female friends. At 6 am, surveillance cameras at the beach showed her group meeting an unknown man. The five women left the beach, but Konanki remained there, police said. According to surveillance video, the man she was with left the beach alone a few hours later.
