CM Stalin questions the Center's stance on Tamil language
Tamil Nadu CM and DMK president M.K. Stalin has strongly opposed the imposition of Hindi. He questioned why the Centre has not set up a special institution to teach Tamil or other southern languages in the northern states.
Technology is key in solving language problems . Stalin believed that technologies like
Google Translate, ChatGPT, and Artificial Intelligence can be useful in overcoming language problems. He said that it is better for students to learn the necessary technical education and that forcibly teaching languages is an additional burden on students. Stalin recalled that Gandhiji believed that the people of the South should learn Hindi and the people of the North should learn the languages of the South. He explained that the South Indian Hindi Prachar Sabha was formed with this aim.
