Lakshmi Devi at Belvan Village
Belvan is a village in Braj Bhoomi. Bel means wood apple tree and van means forest, as this forest is full of wood apple trees hence, it is called Belvan. It is said that Goddess Lakshmi came in this village to pray, meditate and join Lord Krishna’s Rasleela. It is not very popular among people but you must visit if you are on a Mathura Vrindavan Trip. Maa Lakshmi is believed to do penance in Belvan.
