KBO to change tomorrow's game time to 5 p.m. amid fall heat wave
The Korean Baseball Organization has changed the start time of professional baseball games on the last day of the Chuseok holiday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. as the heat wave continues in mid-September.
“The three games scheduled for 2 p.m. tomorrow - LG-Lotte, Samsung-KT, and Hanwha-NC - will start at 5 p.m.,” the KBO said, adding, ”We will continue to operate the league flexibly in consideration of the safety of players and spectators.”
Professional baseball has been shifting game start times to 2 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays and 5 p.m. on Saturdays since this month after the July-August heat wave.
