Turbidimetric immunoassay, sometimes referred to as immunoturbidimetry or turbidimetry, measures a sample's turbidity in order to ascertain the analyte's concentration. Antigen-antibody complexes are frequently quantified using this technique. The turbidity of the sample increases when an antigen-antibody combination forms. A portion of the light is dispersed, a portion is absorbed, and the remaining portion of the light flows through the sample as it travels through the reaction solution.
