How to reach Kedarnath from Gurgaon​

To get to Kedarnath from Gurgaon, first go via Haridwar or Rishikesh, both of which are connected by road and rail. The distance between Gurgaon and Haridwar is about 240 kilometers and takes 5 to 6 hours by driving. To get to Gaurikund, the starting point for the Kedarnath hike, take a bus or rent a private vehicle from Haridwar. The journey from Haridwar to Gaurikund is around 200 km long and takes 7 to 8 hours.

From Gaurikund, 16 km goes uphill to the Kedarnath temple which would take one around 6-8 hours, depending upon your pace, though you might like to save that time too, by a pony or on a palanquin.
