McCarthy only announced the impeachment inquiry because maga GOP threatened him with a change of leadership and some of the said they would refuse to vote for a bill that would avoid a government shutdown. While the GOP is determined to have a political version of the Jerry Spinger show on a daily basis the rest of the world is seeing a weakened America with a government that can't even pretend to present a unified front on domestic issues let alone foreign policy, which does not bode well for our nation.
