Biogas is a renewable fuel made from the decomposition of organic matter like food scraps and animal manure. It can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including automobile fuel, heating, and power generation. Methane and carbon dioxide makes up the majority of biogas. Small levels of hydrogen sulphide, siloxanes, and moisture may also be present. The proportional amounts of these change based on the type of waste used in the biogas production process.
