Before you start searching for jobs as a security guard, it is important to check your eligibility. If you have any criminal convictions, you will not be granted a NSW Security Licence. The NSW Police Force will conduct these checks for you before issuing your licence, don’t apply to become a Security Guard if you have a criminal record, you will be declined from NSW Police.
