BRS: BRS leaders join Congress

Politics in Telangana has taken another turn as several leaders who were previously in the BRS (Bharat Rashtriya Samithi) party have joined the Congress party. As a result of this agitation, they are unhappy with the performance of the BRS party and its failure to provide party programmes and leadership locally. This political development took place in Hyderabad on Thursday, in which Palakurti MLA Yashaswini Reddy,Constituency in-charge Hanumandla Jhansi Rajender Reddy joined the Congress party along with other BRS leaders.Telangana PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud welcomed these leaders to the party. The main reason for the BRS leaders joining the Congress party is that there is deep dissatisfaction in the party and there are many problems. Dr. Ponugoti Someswara Rao, explaining this situation , said that BRS faced a heavy defeat in the last elections under his leadership.
