Washington, : In a hopeful development for Indian students in the US, a court has ordered the restoration of student visas that were recently cancelled by the US State Department. With this ruling133 students in the US, mostly Indians, have been granted temporary relief.The US government terminated the SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System), which resulted in the legal status of the students being erased. However, the affected students approached the US court, which upheld their claim. Since the majority of the students in this case are Indian, this will have an impact on India-US educational relations.
