India: Pakistani citizens are not allowed to enter India
New Delhi: The Indian government strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir. Several key decisions were taken in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In response to this attack, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced the temporary suspension of the Indus Water Treaty signed in 1960. It was also decided to close the Attari Integrated Check Post with immediate effect. Currently, thePakistani citizens will have to leave India by May 1, 2025.India has stopped issuing visas to Pakistani citizens. Visas already issued have also been cancelled. Pakistani citizens currently in India have been ordered to leave the country within 48 hours.
