Ap HighCourt: High Court's key comments on the withdrawal of the PIL

The AP High Court has made serious comments on the issue of PILs and petitions. It said that it will not accept the withdrawal of the PIL. A PIL was filed challenging the tender for the excavation of nuclear beach sand in Bhimunipatnam, Gara Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, Srikakulam District. However, the Andhra Pradesh High Court rejected the petitioner's request to withdraw this PIL. Similarly, the court also opposed the petitioner's attempt to withdraw the PIL related to the demolition of structures built on the banks of the Krishna River in Tadepalli, Guntur District. In both these cases, the High Court ordered the petitioners to deposit Rs. 1 lakh each in the court.
