Amandeep Kaur: Key points in the investigation of the female police officer caught with drugs

The police are conducting a special drive against drugs in Punjab. In the process, Lady Constable Amandeep Kaur was traveling in a Thar car when she was stopped by the police and Anti-Narcotics Task Force personnel on the flyover on Badal Road in Bathinda. Later, the lady constable's car was checked. In this process, more than 17 grams of heroin were seized from the gear box. Police said that she was recently transferred to Bathinda Police Lines after getting posted in Mansa. After the drugs were seized, the police arrested Kaur . Police said that they took her into one-day remand and questioned her. Officials said that the police have removed Amandeep from her job after this incident.
