New Rules: New rules from today

The government has brought some key changes in tax exemptions at the beginning of the new financial year . The standard deduction of Rs. 75,000 will bring the total tax exemption up to Rs. 12.75 lakh. These changes will provide relief to middle-class employees and businessmen . In addition, tax exemption under section 80CCD(1B) will be applicable for investments in the National Pension Scheme (NPS) Vatsalya.
