Kakani: Police notices issued to former minister Kakani's residence

Kakani: Illegal mining and transportation of quartz, use of explosives contrary to regulations. A case has been registered at Podalakur police station. The police on Sunday issued notices to former minister and Nellore district YSRCP president Kakani Govardhan Reddy to appear before the inquiry in connection with the case. It stated that he should come to the Nellore Rural DSP office at 11 am on Monday.

However, on Sunday evening, Podalakur SI Hanif went to the former minister's house in Nellore to serve the notice.
