Muhammad Yunus: Yunus meets with Chinese President Jinping

Muhammad Yunus: Bangladesh interim leader Muhammad Yunus met with Chinese President Xi Jinping . The two met on Friday morning, local media reports said.Yunus left for China on Wednesday as part of a four-day visit.Yunus participated in the annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan province on Wednesday. Later, he reached the Chinese capital Beijing and met with representatives of that country. He demanded that the interest rates on loans provided by the Dragon be reduced and commitment fees for projects funded by that country be waived. He also wanted to support several development projects. After Japan, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, Bangladesh is receiving the most loans from China. The loans received since 1975 have reached 7.5 billion dollars.
