Revanth Reddy: Do you know why CM Revanth wrote to Modi?

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to visit Hastinapur for the 33rd time. This time, he has decided to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and seek central support for the BC reservation increase bills. To this end, CM Revanth Reddy wrote a letter to the Prime Minister on Monday. The letter mentioned a request to meet the Prime Minister along with all-party representatives.

Increase in BC reservations
Central support sought for BC reservation bill. Two bills were approved in the assembly, providing 42 percent reservation for BCs in education and jobs . All parties are ready to work together to get it approved by Parliament. In Telangana, now there are 15 percent reservations for Scheduled Castes, 7 percent for Scheduled Tribes, 4 percent for minorities, and 23 percent for BCs in educational institutions and jobs.
