The thief who went to steal in the church got himself into trouble and was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition . According to Kodad Town CI Shivashankar, an unknown person broke into the under-construction Horebu prayer hall in Ambedkar Colony of Kodad Town at midnight.

The thief tried to steal new windows and doors that were brought to be installed in the hall. At that time the church guards Narayan and Jairam caught the man. After beating him with a plastic pipe, his hands and legs were tied so that he could be handed over to the police in the morning. After somehow getting free from the bondage, the thief tried to escape by jumping over the wall behind the bathroom.
