Is Edge Computing the Future of AI and Machine Learning?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been exploring edge computing and how it’s changing the way AI and machine learning work. From what I understand, edge computing brings processing closer to where data is generated, reducing the need to send everything to the cloud. But I’d love to hear from those who have experience with it!
Some key benefits I’ve come across include:

✅ Lower Latency – AI models can process data instantly without relying on cloud servers.
✅ Better Privacy & Security – Sensitive data stays on local devices instead of being transmitted.
✅ Reduced Cloud Costs – Less data transfer means lower bandwidth and storage expenses.
✅ Offline Capabilities – AI applications can function in remote areas without a constant internet connection.
Have you worked with AI at the edge? How does it compare to cloud-based AI in real-world applications? Would love to hear your thoughts! 😊
