Murat Nagy Choklu (Hana Card) from Turkye defeated teammate Nguyen Quoc Nguyen (Vietnam, Hana Card) to become the 20th professional billiards PBA champion.
Cho Klu defeated Nguyen with a set score of 4-2 (12-15 7-15 15-10 15-11 15-11 15-14) in the final of the Crown Haitai PBA Championship 2024 held at KINTEX PBA Stadium in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the night of the 3rd.
He achieved a come-from-behind victory and took home the prize money of 100 million won.
Choklu, who debuted in the PBA in June last year through the Gyeongju Blue One Resort Championship.
Choklu, who was in danger of being relegated from the first division tour until this tournament, jumped from 68th (5 million won) to 8th (105 million won) in the prize money rankings by winning this tournament.
