Power Taekwondo Women's National Team, 3rd Place in WT Championship Women's Team Event
The Power Taekwondo women's national team took third place in the 2024 World Taekwondo (WT) World Cup Team Championship Series women's team event.
Kim Ga-yeon, Ahn Hye-young, Oh Seung-joo, and Hong Hyo-rim lost to Iran with a round score of 0-2 (155-175 130-155) women's team event semifinals held at Songam Sports Town Air Dome in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do on the 2nd, but won 2-0 in the 3rd-4th place match against India.
Iran won the championship by defeating Morocco in the final.
World Cup Team Championship Series is an international competition conducted in the Power Taekwondo format.
The Korea Taekwondo Association held the Power Taekwondo competition,
in which domestic players competed from 2019 to 2022,
and was reorganized into a World Cup international competition hosted by WT last year.
