Kim Ha-seong, Steals Base Immediately After Stolen Base is Deleted due to Record Correction

Korean infielder Ha-seong Kim (28, San Diego Padres),

who plays in the Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States,

has lost one of his stolen base records.

The MLB office announced that the record of Ha-seong Kim stealing second base from first base with two outs in the 8th inning during the game against the Texas Rangers

An indifferent stolen base is awarded when the defense does not stop a runner from attempting to steal a base in a situation where the score difference is large in the latter half of the game.

Kim Ha-seong stole second base with two outs in the top of the 8th inning when the team was down 0-7,

and it was recognized as his 16th stolen base of the season at the time of the game.

Kim Ha-seong succeeded in stealing his 16th base of the season right after the record was corrected.
