Ocean's Legacy Stingray Coral Jewelry

The mesmerizing Stingray Coral crystals are found in the remote areas of Southeast Alaska. Like other gemstones, they are not made of comprised minerals; instead, they can be seen as the remains of a marine creature. Since it comes from the deep sea, due to the cumulation of a stack of stingray polyps, the fossil is found to be made from silica-rich calcium. Some corals are opaque, while some are translucent, making people fall for Stingray coral rings, bracelets, and other Jewelry pieces. They rank between 2 and 2.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, thereby are fragile and being considered adorned on special occasions.
