Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah presented his 16th budget on Friday (March 7, 2025) with a record outlay of ₹4.09 crore rupees.

Highlights for Infrastructure and Urban Development

✔ ₹ 40,000 crore tunnel roads project planned for Bengaluru
✔ ₹ 1,800 crore for 21 projects under the Brand Bengaluru.
✔ Bengaluru Business Corridor: ₹ 27,000 crore plan for 73 km road
✔ 28.5 km tunnel from KR Puram to Nayandanahalli at ₹ 28,000 crore
✔ Upgrade 4,420 km of highways and district roads with an investment of ₹ 4,848 crore
✔ ₹ 8,000 crore for development in minor irrigation, roads, & urban infrastructure under CMIDP scheme.
