Conversations about marijuana have changed a lot over the past decade. What was once an underground drug has become widely legalized for medical—and in many places, recreational—use. For adults, the laws have shifted. But for teens and young adults, marijuana still carries real risks that are often misunderstood or downplayed.
This shift in perception has made marijuana prevention more complicated than ever. Gone are the days when "Just Say No" campaigns were enough. Today’s prevention efforts need to be honest, informed, and rooted in real-life experiences—because the stakes are still high, especially for developing brains.
