I’m thinking about upgrading to a super ultrawide monitor (34” or 38”) and would love to hear from those who’ve made the switch. I currently use two 24” 1080p monitors, but I find the bezels distracting and managing multiple screens a bit tedious.
Here’s how I use my setup:
Work: Multitasking, coding, and design.
Leisure: Gaming, mainly open-world games and shooters.
My main questions are:
Productivity: Is a super ultrawide monitor better for multitasking and design work? Will it really replace a dual monitor setup effectively?
Gaming: How is gaming on an ultrawide? Are most games optimized for the wider aspect ratio (21:9 or beyond)?
